About The Artist
As Long as I can remember I've always had a passion for photography. I was 6 when I got my first camera. I remember being so excited unpacking it from the box, I was going to follow my dream and become a photographer!
Deciding what you want to be when your 6 doesn't always work out as planned. Although my profession was not a photographer, I never put the camera down.
When my daughters where born, that passion was still alive & strong, but photography for me was still just a hobby.
In 2003 I was diagnosed with cancer, Non-Hodgkins lymphoma. We where all devastated with the news. With no time to waste chemotherapy started immediately. Cancer has a way of giving you a whole new perspective on life. Having a positive attitude and faith in God was going to get me through this...and when I was finished with my treatment I was going to open a studio.
Well, I am still cancer free. The studio has grown in leaps and bounds and I have had the opportunity to study photography with some of the best photographers in the field.
All things in life happen for a reason. Having cancer was Gods way of getting me to follow my true passion. He has given me the opportunity to create memories that will last a lifetime......and for that I am truly grateful.
